Okay, apparently I'm not yet dead.

So, here's the update:

The May, 2016 MRI was fantastic. Showed reduction of every area that could have been interpreted as cancerous. Docs were amazed.

When I sat down with the oncologist in July and looked at the MRI, it was like "whelp, there goes that shit." Lots of spurious "clouds" in the right side around the original tumor area.

August 22016 MRI looked worse and when the oncologist and nurse came into the room, you could tell by the look on their faces that they were going to hand over a really tasty shit sandwich. He gave me 3 to 6 months at that point based on the information he was looking at.

Apparently the Cancer decided to tell the Temodar oral chemotherapy I was taking to go **** itself. Doc said that it can quickly develop a resistance to the chemo, which is likely what happened.

He suggested another route and I've been on Avastan, which is an infusion chemotherapy that also acts as a type of coagulant which may slow down the flow of blood to the cancerous area, which could have been the reason for the sudden growth that he saw in July/August.

He stated that it wasn't a cure and would most likely net me an additional 3 to 6 months at best. However, he's seen several cases where it's worked really well, but some that it hasn't done anything. So, I've been on that since September. No real side effects that I can notice and my labs keep coming back perfect.

I have noticed that the periphrial vision in my left eye to the left is pretty much gone. But I don't know if that's a lingering effect from the initial, surgery, radiation treatment or has something to do with the new cancer growth we've seen the past couple of months. Makes things feel "trippy."

Doc said that I would notice stuff going to pot on the left side of my body first when it started to go south, so I kind of pay attention to any little tick on that side more than I probably should.

But other than that, I haven't really had anything else in terms of negatives. Oh, my stomach has been "growling" a lot and loudly. That's about it.

Hang in there man. And let the mods know what's going on. This place went nuts when we thought you had passed.
