I'm confused - so did they sign Davis as a 3rd string back & PR only?

PR is basically just running forward which Knile Davis can do, with or without the ball sometimes. They probably want to wait a week or two before throwing him into the actual offense.

I think he will move to #1 or #2 but he was just traded this week and usually pass protection schemes are the hold up.

Most running plays are the same but pass protection is different from team to team.
