Thor is in my top tier of Marvel movies. But then again, I preferred Cap 2 over Cap 3. (Although I liked Cap 3 a lot.)
I also thought Dr. Strange was really good as well. I wish Kenneth Branaugh had come back for Thor 2. This may be the only thing we have ever agreed on.

It's Donald Blake and I actually agree.
The movie had very few weaknesses. |

I saw this thread on the forum directory and immediately thought "THAT is a Direckshun thread". Glad I wasn't wrong.
Thor is underappreciated and a fantastic movie that has aged well, but best is pretty subjective. For me, it's a tight race between Thor, Cap 2 , and Guardians for "best" MCU movie. I'm glad you brought up Thor's soundtrack, easily one of the best of the MCU. |

I love Thor, but Loki's motivations are too conflicting and inconsistent to make this among the top Marvel movies.

It's a better film than people give it credit for, but it's basically an origin story and those are inherently weak. Too much of the film is Thor wandering around like a sulky human and talking. It's not a horrible film--I'd rather watch "Thor" on a loop for 24 hours than one minute of "Iron Man 3", that piece of shit--but it's nowhere near the best Marvel film. "GotG" is still my gave, but all the Cap movies are better, "Avengers" is better, and I'd even argue that "Ant-Man" is a better origin story.

Thor is one of my favorites. Up there with IM1 and Cap2.

I think that's part of its charm. Most of the film he is depowered and having to become worthy without combat. |

Cap 2 is top tier. I was kinda disappointed in cap 3
