I have no problem with them saying they missed the call. They did. Just don't get pissed when a player let's you hear about it for a few seconds. You don't want the player bitching about it then don't miss the ****ing call.

He let one ref hear it for a few seconds, then walked over to another ref and gave him some. The last thing he said got him flagged.

He had reason to be mad and react before quickly returning to the huddle. That's not what he did though.
