Bucs abused the defense...

I don't care what you have to say about Smith or the offense. The Chiefs defense got absolutely ass pumped by the Bucs. They got one stop because Winston dropped the ball. When the game was on the line they couldn't stop anything. They gave up 5-8 ypc runs all day long. WR's were running around wide open and no one even sniffed Winston's jock.

Blame who you want on offense and there is blame to be had by them and Reid. But the defense killed us today.

Win as a team, lose as a team. We pay far too much money for Maclin, Berry, Houston, Tamba, Schwartz, Smith and DJ to not make an impact on a regular basis. I argue that Jones, Sorenson, Peters, Hill have brought more to the table this year than our vets.

At that point, the defense hadn't stopped them all day, Penis was throwing up and down the field at will...the defense had been hanging on for dear life and kept it close by forcing field goals.

At some point, your offense needs to grow a pair, step the **** up, string some first downs together, let the defense rest, and...I don't know, maybe SCORE A ****ING TOUCHDOWN IN THE FOURTH QUARTER FOR ONCE INSTEAD OF RELYING ON DEFENSE AND SPECIAL TEAMS EVERY ****ING WEEK!

The defense single handedly took the game over and won last week. Maybe you missed that.

You can't rely on that every week. At some point, the offense needs to be...productive. Duh.

Holy shit Tiger said something I agree with.

Houston got hurt so he gets a pass

Maclin was not hurt at the start of the season and still look like crap.

dude, we only had like 2, 3 and outs today and that was in the first half. The defense didn't get a single 3 and out. TB ran over 20 plays more than the Chiefs. And a lot of that was because they defense couldn't get themselves off the field. It isn't like we were going out there on offense and going 3 and out, drive after drive after drive. Cause we weren't. We actually moved the ball rather well on offense. And we did score a TD in the 4th. Just sayin....

When the offense fails to break 20 points against one of the worst defenses in the entire NFL at home, it's a huge problem.

Guys, this isn't an issue about a single game. This is a pattern. KC's offense is terrible.

KC giving up gobs of yards and few points is also a trend, but it's less alarming than the offense's inability to score points.

You aren't going to win many games by scoring 17 points.

Period. Full stop.

It was bad. Compounded by shit tackling. We had so many tackles for losses and or little\no gain that we just whiffed. Not wrapping up or something. It killed us. Literally. It allowed TB so extend drive after drive after drive.

And Sutton did absolutely nothing to generate pressure on Winston.

Despite the defense playing like ass they still didn't allow more then 20 points. this offense couldn't score 20 at home. This is all on the offense. Alex Smith did not get it done. He's played 2 quarters of good football all season and that's it There is a reason why he's ranked in the bottom of the league in most passing statistics. He's just not good.
