They were talking somewhat of this on 810 today.

Basically for this year I believe they were saying, Talib, Demarcus Ware and Trevor Siemian cost the Broncos the same amount of cap space Alex Smith costs the Chiefs.

Their point was
Yes Alex Smith IS a better QB than Trevor Siemian, but is he that much better?

This Years Alex him and Siemian are even maybe even a slight edge to Siemian.

Their point wasnt that Alex was better than Siemian, they agreed he was but they were pointing out in actual cap space what Denver is able to put on the field compared what the Chiefs are with just Alex Smith.

There was a reason a good amount of posters on here were freaking out in 14 when we had Alex sign the extension.

The popular theory around here even from most homers was he was not wroth that amount of cash.
