Alex Smith went vertical today and he was nails minus the overthrown pass. He looked damn good today.

That miss to Ware was horrific, but it's an improvement over what we've seen lately, that's for sure.

As stated in another thread... yes, Smith played better this week, but against a bottom third defense like Atlanta's, his offense should have produced more than 13 points.

He had no help from the running game. Ware averaged 2.2 yards per carry. Looks like he's wearing down.

Alex Smith did not, in any way win this game. He was beneficiary of lots of YAC, special team TD and 9 pts from Eric Berry. This was one of the worst defenses in the nfl

I think this was Alex Smith best game as a Chiefs and he did have a couple miss fires but he wasn't just a game manager today.

Andy Reid was aggressive today and I think it triculated into the players.

Outstanding game win

I said this in the game thread but it bears repeating... Smith's passing early in the game kept things from getting out of hand fast like they did in Pittsburgh. Yes he missed two passes that could have sealed the game late, but his early play was monumental in keeping the team from going full tilt.

Your ****ing reeruned lol. Our offense punted once today did we not? You act like we were not moving the ball or punting on every down. There's context on why our o only put up 13 points

Yeah I agree, he got up off the turf slowly after about every play. He's either dinged, or worn out.

LOL so you're saying that he threw the ball accurately enough to give his WRs opportunities for YAC?

This is the most reeruned thing ever. He threw for 270 yards. He had 4 total incompletions. He threw the ball down the field. It was a great game for him.
