Yeah no doubt, this Reerun guy is taking extra strides over this past week to be as obnoxious as some others. Not sure if it's attention whoring or dude just shattered after the last game.

I don't really fault people for being overly optimistic or defeated, but as always, it's the redundancy of such sentiments that gets real old. It has to be a misery loves company thing, +/or attention-grab.

Remember how we all felt in 2003 entering the playoffs?

You weren't here for the Marty era. We had tremendous regular season success and then playoff collapse after playoff collapse.

That's exactly what it feels like right now. We didn't have the quarterback to pick the team up when it faltered. Now we rely on a guy who puts up 17 ppg.

Rinse and repeat.

Sorry for your pain, but this doesn't mean that things won't go differently this time. It can be said that the team is made up of the same components, but they are not. Similar in many ways? sure.. but different people. Give em a real chance, maybe?

What have we to really lose? Disappointment in playoff losses will exist regardless of whether we have shreds of hope and optimism or not, no?

It hasn't been different this time.

Regular season success with a 1-2 playoff record.

Chiefs have a healthy JMac back, and perhaps a healthy Justin Houston.. plus an allegedly improved Dee Ford. Eric Berry is back... Plus, the Ty Hill emergence.

That's... different than then... yes yes?

Isn't our offense worse this year?

Yes, but Alex is worse.

Houston didn't look good against Tenn. We need him BADLY

Can't really argue that.. except to say that I don't believe Smith is much worse... or at the very least will be this level of worse.. when the do or die games come around. Same goes for my hope in Andy Reid.

This offense has a legit chance to shock us all when the do or dies begin. We have seen what they are capable of when unshackled. This offense can go a long ways into lifting more than their share for the hobbling defense. I feel it. I believe it. I will look for it. If I am wrong, then I will eat it.
