My old man usually dumps his refuse in somebody else's dumpster. Drives me crazy. I can't convince him it is quite literally stealing. I've tried to explain that he wouldn't walk up to the house and pocket a tool then why is he dumping his garbage into a container for which somebody is paying money?

I have strange pet peeves. I can't stand it when somebody is eating something crunchy when I am not. I'll make them turn on a radio or something to drown out that noise. Most of my other pet peeves are courtesy related. For instance, I will ALWAYS switch into the left lane at a traffic light if I'm going straight to allow the people behind me to turn right. If there is heavy traffic, I don't get too worried about it. But if it's me and some other douchebag on the road, he will ALWAYS be in front of me in the right lane while I'm sitting through the light waiting to turn right. Most people are completely oblivious to the little things.

So you can't extend common courtesy to an elderly neighbor and let him use your dumpster, something that you wouldn't even notice 9 times out of 10 if the dumpster was large enough....but you'll go out of your way for complete strangers who don't give a shit if you switch lanes....
