Now, the writer of this got all of his info in the article from speaking to FO people and scouts at the combine. You can question the validity, but the Chiefs did meet with all of the players mentioned at the combine.

If this report is accurate, the Chiefs could indeed be on the path to Patrick Mahomes or Deshaun Watson holding up their jersey in 7 weeks in Philadelphia.

I think the NFL has highly overestimated the ability of rookies to come in and start at QB.

People wonder why there are so few good QB's in the NFL right now.

If we are all to embrace your "none of us know Jack and Shit" premise... what difference does such an opinion make?

My Jack and Shit opinion is that Mahomes is a mess.. and probably would take longer than 1 year to become anything more than a wildly inconsistent QB.

I think many... including draft "experts"... will and probably have already agreed that Mahomes will take a long time to get right.. if at all.

From where? Draft a qb and give him season to sit and learn is the best we can do. We won't have a QB ready to take over from an experience stand point in 2018 unless we get another teams trash again. No way in hell should we try that for hundreth time.

Who is wondering that? I don't really see any difference in the number of good QBs.

The names you once recognized are just getting replaced by Carr, Mariota, Cousins, and possibly Prescott. There's still Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Roethlisberger, Ryan, Wilson, Luck. Then you have guys like Rivers, Stafford, and Newton who aren't having as great years as they've had in the past that I would still gladly take on the Chiefs over the comfortably mediocre bullshit they have been willing to back up the Brinks truck for.
