Clay wants to give the organization shit for passing on Carr, but he's scared to draft a QB that isn't an elite prospect.

Rodgers, Flacco, Carr, Dalton, Brady, Brees, Dak, Wilson, Romo, Cousins. All of these guys were drafted after the first half of the first rd

If our GM that's drafted 3 all pro's in 4 years drafts a QB in rd 1, we should all jump on board

And if he doesn't, I will also give him the benefit of the doubt. It is very obvious they are looking for a QBOTF and I will be patient knowing that Dorsey won't take somebody that isn't their guy. I don't want them to do it out of panic, and if he decides to wait till next year I'm fine with that. I think we take one somewhere in the first two days though.

That's the first post I made about Carr on CP. I never really weighed in on him prior to the draft.

This isn't a Joe Flacco situation. It's a Geno Smith situation. And we all should have learned our lesson. |

Actually that would be an ideal situation. Trade our 2017 1st for a 2018 1st. Use the 2nd on one of these dubious QB prospects, just in case. Proceed as planned in 2018 when one of the 2017 cucks flames out. |

Jimmy Clausen in the 2nd, Cam Newton in the first the next year. You have to think outside the box. Actually you guys might be on to something...if Mahomes can get us to 1-15, Sam Darnold is as good as ours. |
