Seriously, the guy sounds like Jay Cutler. And like I said, this is the worst feedback we've gotten since Geno and we all know how that worked out.
I learned a fairly valuable lesson during Genogate - these interviews mean, in many ways, as much as the tape and the drills. At least for quarterbacks.
That's why I've slowly warmed to Webb. Christ alive, man - he KILLS the interviews and film study process. I've read several of them with him now and he can just dissect and disseminate things in real time as well as anyone I've ever seen. The arm's there and the athleticism, while goofy as ****, seems to be good enough.
Why should I take Kizer over someone like Webb when Webb has the same build, same arm, slighly less athleticism (though maybe not; just stranger looking) and at least outwardly understands/enjoys football a HELL of a lot more than Kizer does.

I don't. Geno's reports were shit like the dude was on his cellphone during an interview or he would tune everyone out. I don't see that with Kizer. Kizer just comes off as being confident.....but he's not an asshole about it. I just think that he's green and he definitely needs to sit for a season. I think Reid would be perfect for him.
