Disagree: He was on Love Boat for two seasons, Happy Days for 2 seasons and Married with Children for 6 seasons, not the last 5 episodes. Yes, all those shows died with him in the cast...I remembered Dynasty (2 seasons) but not the West Wing gig.

He's had an arc that started in the last 5 or so episodes of a series more often than just about anyone. Vehicles as diverse as The Love Boat and The West Wing. I didn't say that he was in the last 5 of EVERY SHOW he was on, just a lot, and many more waning days.
