So the win wasn't a stepping stone to something greater. It was just a team that wasn't that good, led by a QB who wasn't that good, beating a shitty QB who had no business in the postseason.

By that logic, the only important wins in Chiefs history occurred in 1962, 1966, and 1969. If you subscribe to that philosophy, that's your business, but I would expand beyond that. In my opinion, there are important wins that occur in seasons without a Super Bowl win. The 1991 win was important because it was the first Chiefs playoff win since Super Bowl IV.

Yes and beating the raiders literally twice in a row , back to back weeks to eliminate them from the playoffs was ****ing epic...but I get that it is lost to the children here..to know the feeling of hatred for the raiders or of a DECADE where you knew you were going to the playoffs every year because the team was that good
