I thought about buying it last week, but held off.
I'm not a huge MP guy; I logged way too many hours than i care to admit on BF3 however (my first MP experience). Life is a bit busier now, so I don't have the time to dedicate to it as I once did. I picked up COD Ghosts (I think that's what it's called) used a few months back for like $10 and played the campaign. Was decently entertaining but felt short. But for $10, it was just right. I'm reluctant to drop $60 on a game where I know I might only be playing the SP side of things. But I'm a sucker for WWII era games. I'd like to hear others opinions on this game as well.

I've played the MP a few times now, and I've had a very enjoyable time thus far. The maps seem small, so camping isn't a huge issue as it forces most interaction. Boots on the ground is great - really seals the deal with the more historical aspect of the game. Perks are fun, instant respawn is fun. Overall, it's just been fun.

I very rarely do anything with MP, but the campaigns remind me of the old Medal of Honor franchise.

I decided to try it out. Haven't bought one a in a few years. I'm mad at Gamestop for having it in stock that day. It's fairly boring and MP lags quite a bit. It doesn't help that I suck at it.

I still play BF1 multiplayer. After hearing that WWII maps were small and dominated by people using SMGs, I'm glad I stayed away. CoD just can't un**** itself.

I played a game earlier. A grenade was thrown my way and I ran away from it. The damn game lagged and threw me right back into the grenade.

Your'e not missing a thing. I was all over this when I heard they were going back to WWII. Loved the original COD and United Offensive. Loved all the Modern Warefare games also. The problem with this game is it does seem PS2 ish. They could have done so much more with the graphics and the game play is antiquated/poor AI. When you look at games like SW Battlefront and Battlefield 1 the graphics and textures are incredible. Playing any game that lacks this quality for a new release is a major setback in reward and enjoy ability.

Its a quick twitch game. Most people start to lose the dexterity to be competitive at those type of games @ around 22.
If you're on PS4 try Fortnite. It's free and really fun. |
