Time for Mahomes

Everybody on the team has lost confidence in Alex, they know he doesn't have the ability or the desire to be a leader. Once Mahomes is installed as the quarterback the whole team will be transformed and start running through brick walls to help him succeed. It will be like a snowball rolling downhill. A true leader makes the people around him perform better, Alex does not possess this quality. It's time to start the next chapter in the Chiefs legacy. Alex Smith needs to be removed as the starter and let him spend his last days as a Chief holding a clipboard.
