What is it with old people giving Alex the benefit of the doubt all the time? My dad did the same thing. He's always been an Alex fan. Even Clay's dad. It's weird.

They don't believe in throwing people under the bus even when they deserve it. Hell, for the most part I'm the same way. That said, I've known for years that until the Chiefs change the way they look at the QB position they will continue to fail. Really hoping their (the chiefs) "risk" is our reward.

It still wouldn't shock me to see this team stick with Alex next year. They truly are dumb enough to do it.

Even if for any strange reason Mahomes isn't what we wanted, at least it's a start, and hopefully this retread QB BS is done for a very long time.
