Smith is not to be applauded over the last recent weeks. I am not even saying anymore that he is the best QB option on the roster, at this point.

All the same, and as usual though, the media-duped fans easily crawl back to the exaggerated vilification of him.

It's not rocket science. Why is Ragland just now getting more playing time even though DJ has mostly been awful this year? Reid is a coach who is afraid to make a change, especially away from an established and well liked veteran. Many coaches are loyal to a fault.

Okay, but my point remains that too many coaches are loyal to a fault, and Alex remaining the quarterback is not an indication that Reid thinks he's the best option.
