Holiday chiefs discussion with family.

Post your horror stories here.

My family is ****ing reeruned when it comes to the chiefs. Andy will always fix everything. They “trust” Andy. Loved Herm because he was from the Marty coaching bush...

Trade Peters now that we have Revis Island

Must resign Dee Ford. He has so much promise.

Consider trading Mahomes for a Herschel walker like trade to rebuild the OL to protect Alex.

Extend Alex He’s safe and proven.
Rest Hali for next season.

Draft LB and weapons for Alex.

What’s it like at your family holiday events?

It feels like I'm basically stuck in time with Chiefs and NFL discussion. Every year I'm asked if I've watched this game or that game, how I feel about some player, etc; and every year I shrug and say I don't watch nearly as much NFL these days and it's always the same story with the Chiefs, etc.

I feel like it should be even more obvious now that I'm not in the regional coverage area, but no...

In general though, those who talk about the Chiefs are pretty realistic.

My brother defends Smith and blames the defense all the time. I’ve tried helping him see the light but I’m pretty sure it’s a worthless endeavor.

I have only one die hard relative( thank God ), and he considers me GM-material.

The worst are old school mates.

It's like, "good to see you didn't learn a ****ing thing out there in the real world, ponyboy; rock on"!

The majority of my family discussions regarding football consist of me biting my tongue...

I have no earth shattering gems to divulge from this year's rendezvous, but damn it was hard to hold back...

The worst was - "I just don't understand why everyone hopped on the kareem hunt bandwagon. He is the real issue with the o"

I just smiled, nodded, and internally thought "you have no idea how stupid you sound" because that's what I've been forced to do while amongst family

It’s amazing that those people can function or wipe their own asses. LOL.

Did they start quoting KK from 810 as gospel ? Or better yet do they attend Chiefs Kingdom functions?

The only discussion was about sitting during the National Anthem. My response was what does an entertainment event have to do with the Anthem?

My nephew finally understands why I've said 7-9 all year long. Even during the winning streak. This conservative old guy has seen a lot of Chiefs football over the years and just when you crown this team as world beaters, reality sets in and the team goes back to what they are:

Pretenders...

My father refuses to watch them - he's always lived in KC too. He learned years ago that LHunt and CHunt only care to win enough to put butts in the seat - they'll never procure a championship club. He ain't dumb.

I wouldn't be surprised that their is congenital brain damage in the entire family, as there ample evidence posted here by the patriarch. We bear witness to it every day.

But to put it out there for us all to see? Stranger still.
