They didn't do "nothing" to Kelce. You dknow amn well he got his ass chewed like Peters has multiple other times this season and had Kelce kept being a dumbass he would have gotten suspended as well, or still could.

Peters has a much longer, much more recent, and much more consistent history to his actions.

You are seeing it the way you chose to see it. Typical victim attitude.

First player did it at the beginning of the season when all was going well for the team. Obviously received a warning and has been a model player since.

Second player has been doing shit the whole season, obviously has been warned, and has started to escalate it until it can no longer be tolerated. The team is not playing well.

Even a stupid mother ****er learns that when things are going bad, you do your part and keep a low profile, without making things worse.

He is a ****ing baby that needs to grow up and it is about the ****ing team.

The more I sit and ponder it, the more I think trading Peters makes sense.

The guy's effort has been questionable at best all season. Lots of distractions and headaches. Who knows what he is like within the building?

With almost the entire offense set to return in 2018, it would be a good time to make such a move. Recoup a pick or two in the draft, commit to rebuilding the defense with the newfound cap space and picks.

Except what are you rebuilding the defense with? The FA crop out there is hot garbage and at best you'd have to hope that you come away with 2-3 defensive starters from the draft (with minimal picks). We'd better hope that we get high picks from trading Peters AND Smith.

My best guess for his value would be a high 2nd round pick from either the Colts or the Browns (if Dorsey lands there).

Maybe you do go out and grab Malcolm Butler to replace him immediately? I'm not so sure. But I know this, I would rather trade him right now and get something in return rather than pay him the $80+ million that his upcoming contract would likely require. At one time I thought he'd be worth the big money, but now not so much.
