Which four would make your Kansas City Chiefs Mt Rushmore?

Just something that had me wondering. We're not the most storied franchise in existence but we've got some big names. Who would you pick to grace your Chiefs Rushmore?

Four picks, obviously. You can choose players solely or include coaches and front office as well if you like.

I'll include a poll of some of the top choices. Feel free to comment with your top four and vote for the top individual pick. That should give us a good idea as to which four would be most likely if it were an actual thing put to a vote.

Your franchise is ran by an actual donkey.

Judging by the recent drafts, that might actually be true.

Shields getting short shrift here

Its not often you can talk about transcendent talent on O line... but Shields might be the best guard ever

I have a problem putting anyone on there that hasn’t won a super bowl or had playoff success.

Can’t award mediocrity. Just can’t.

I feel the need to say I'm surprised Buck ist getting any love in this thread...

Criminally underrated IMO

He was a game changing defensive tackle in an era where DTs just plugged gaps, but he was one of the first to transcend that mentality at the time...

As I stated earlier, criminally underrated

While I don't have a lot of personal knowledge about them, I think you have to give spots to the icons from those teams that went to the Super Bowl. So, Bobby Bell and Willie Lanier likely get a spot.

My final spot I would argue for Eric Berry. Sure, we don't know what's gonna happen with him in the future, but he embodies everything I want in a Chiefs player, and he has an inspirational story. He might be my favorite Chief of all times.

Will Shields is definitely in the mix.

Also, Derrick Johnson would be a personal pick of mine, but I realize he's gonna fall short in many people's eyes.

Lamar Hunt quit on his own franchise in 1970 after the AFL-NFL merger. Lost his passion. More than anyone else, he is responsible for the under performance of this franchise over the last 45 years. No Rushmore for Hunt.
