I remember the trade Alex Smith talk in the preseason. The Donktards were weighing in then. They thought that Semen had a higher trade value than Smith. What about now KnowShit? Do you still think that Semen would bring more in a trade than Smith? Or, how about this, what would be your trade parameters for a swap of Semen for Smith? Chiefs fans feel free to weigh in too.

Good luck if they can get it, but I just don't see it. I don't know who makes a trade involving a R1 for a 34 year old $20M guy with a year left.

I don't see why any team would be desperate when the 2018 QB market is as robust as it is. |

Go ahead, cut 5 starters. Good luck replacing them with better players in this FA market.

Cousins, Brees, Keenum, Bradford, and Bridgewater are all better than every FA QB that's been available recently. Then you have guys like Chase Daniel, Jay Cutler, McCown, and maybe even Tyrod Taylor.
Add in 4 legit first round QB's + LaMar Jackson and all of the sudden giving up a #1 for Alex Smith doesn't seem like a great idea anymore. |
