I'm just not sure how we can assume a schedule's toughness in January. For all we know, New England is about to have a major shakeup. Pittsburgh could too if they fall on their face and Ben retires. A lot of moving parts to be assembled, for the Chiefs included.

Of course we are a candidate for regression. I'm not sure how anyone thinks we could do the same or better next year compared to this year.
I would expect 7-9 next year with a totally new QB and all the new coaches. Anything above that is just a bonus. If they don't start consistently making the playoffs in year 2, and improving every year after, that's when I'll have a problem. |
