I don’t like that Veach wanted Robert Quinn and couldn’t get him. It sounds like he settled for less by taking only picks.

I think its pretty simple. Peters let the team know he didnt want to be here. The team said fine, dont want to be here, your worth a boatload in trade, so bye.

I imagine its a ****in treasure galeon haul.

If not, the trade doesn't make sense. If not, there is even MORE behind the scenes shit going on.

I have mentioned it multiple times, but Mr Peters has made some very bad off the field decisions that didn't make it to the media. These kind of things, along with half assing it some games, not tackling, not wanting to be on this team, and his mega trade value, created a perfect storm where something like this happens.

So far this "offseason", the Chiefs have traded their former starting QB for a 3rd round pick and one of the league's top cornerbacks, who's only 22 years old, and traded one of the league's best CB's, who's 25 years old, for at least a 1st round pick.

That sounds like a pretty nice return, IMO.

Remember when he was kicked off his college team? Remember when he walked off the field during a game then got into it with a coach? Remmeber the guy who flew to Washington to check him out is now a GM and didn't try to trade for him? Same with the old GM who drafted him and has like 16 picks.

Well, when Veach go the deal for Alex, I was pleasantly surprised at how well he did. This...is kinda shocking, but also could be a bad ass bold move. We'll see.

What the **** are we gonna do with this defense?
