@AdamSchefter: Chiefs are expected to trade CB Marcus Peters to the Los Angeles Rams, sources tell ESPN. Teams are in final stages of talks and barring an unexpected snag, the trade is expected to be agreed to as early as today.

@AdamSchefter: Marcus Peters to LA Rams trade is now officially agreed to, per source; cannot be processed until March 14. But Peters expected to be a Ram.

Peters hated it here, and was likely going to be a hot mess until he was granted his wish to go elsewhere... we're starting a brand new, and extremely exciting uncharted era of Chiefs football

Those who want out cant get the **** out soon enough... we want guys who are ALL IN
Yeah, it is not like we are coming off a great defensive season. The Dee was really bad. It really has no place to go but up. So far his Alex Smith move was great. Peters apparently had to go, if he gets a 1 and anything else fine. Improve the front seven and the dee will be better.

Who says or why would we not get the 1st, 23rd overall, this year?

Please bro (I've known you for a bit, now) CHILL - we have cash/money to deal - I would bet the farm we land Kyle - KC and Chicago have no bad trade history - not in the same conference - I'd say this gets done - I would guess this gets done before Denver's CB - Talib - but if it doesn't we'll get Denver's Talib Kweli

But he could be right and we could get a '19 first. I'm good with that.

Like everyone else I sure hope this "package of picks" we get has at least their 1st this year. If it does not then this trade did not return us even close to the proper value.
Hopefully we don't have to wait to much longer for the reveal of what we got in return.
I’ll say this years 3rd and 5th and next years 2nd

Sounds like a typical Chiefs deal.

That's the speculation on NFL Network and via Rapoport that it doesn't involve a 1st rounder.

I'll be shocked if it does.

That's why I'm ****ing pissed as ****.
I liked watching him play but didn't care for a lot of his actions. I'm more frustrated on what could potentially be poor compensation done in a rushed manor because of locker room attitude.

In the end I don't know what went on behind closed doors but this isn't about having options to replace him. It's about using those and not having them to replace other players.

No matter what side you are on, whether it be that you felt this was a necessary bite of the bullet, you felt this was handled poorly, or you felt this was a bad decision it's hard for me to hear how the chiefs are better off now or even in 3 years.

I guess this post should wait until the compensation but things don't sound good.
