@AdamSchefter: Marcus Peters to LA Rams trade is now officially agreed to, per source; cannot be processed until March 14. But Peters expected to be a Ram.

I’m trying to find ways for this not to happen.

Maybe Peters promised he’d be good?

There was also getting into it with an assistant coach after the game last year when he got the suspension. In the locker room, there was certainly some issues the Chiefs wanted to solve, and they believe they did so by sending him elsewhere. There was also some concern inside the building about whether or not they wanted to pay Marcus Peters long-term, and from what I understand, Andy Reid, the head coach, was really not on board with Peters as a player and off the field -- owner Clark Hunt the same way. When those guys are not on board with keeping a guy and making sure he's part of their future, it is best to send him elsewhere, and that is what the Chiefs did for a package of picks not believed to be a first-rounder."
A package of picks not including a first is comparable to getting a big bag of dicks

Just stop with the goddamn SJW angle when it comes to Peters, people like you act like its nothing but a bunch of Deliverance mfers with this fanbase... and that is a bunch of ****ing horseshit

Matter of fact, several off your fellow liberals have come out against Peters and his nonsense in this very thread

Peters made it clear he wanted nothing to do with midwest values, Clark saw Peters costing him sales, there was no middle ground. Like selling a bad ass Ferrari, a year too soon is better than a year too late.

I don't give two shits about the color of his skin (you clearly do) . Hell, I don't like trading him. My only real issue with peters is his lack of tackling and the mentality to try to strip first rather than tackle. That annoyed the crap out of me.

Apparently you've never seen me post about either Hill or Peters.

And if it was only about football, Peters would never have been traded because he's a much more valuable player than Travis Kelce, more durable, and younger.

Does he have to have midwest values though? I mean that's the thing why is that even needed?

I didn't call him a thug. I called him a headcase. Headcases happen. Question is, is it manageable or not. Kelce is a headcase but seemingly to a more manageable degree. I'll still take the position that Peters is more likely to be out of the league in 3-5 years than a guy up for teammate of the year award.
