Maybe the Chiefs are just delaying compensation to roll out leaks on incidents behind the scenes on Peters. This would cool the fanbase to what compensation or lack of we receive. Just spitballing here no inside knowledge.

Well, yeah. They don't have a contract for the 2018 season and per the CBA, they're set to become Unrestricted Free Agents when the new League Year begins on March 14th.

So basically, you can't trade a player that isn't under contract. So UDFA's can't be traded but RFA's can be traded.

1. The Chiefs have the adbility now to hand out a big contract. That's what I think this is about. We are going to spend money on a sure fire player who is young and fills an important hole on the defense. Donald is in his final year, he's probably going to be difficult for the Rams to keep, so move him now and they Chiefs give him an extention.

Then send the Chiefs a 2nd next year and something this year.

Make a ton of sense and s consistant with how Veach has opperated. He's going to fill a major area of need. Just watch.

Nah, the Rams have $40 million in cap space. There's no way they trade Donald or allow him to walk.

We're going to get a good player in return and Veach is going to draft the shit out of the best Defensive players available and Mahomes is taking us deep into the playoffs this year.

The Rams are going to be stuck with a no standing for the Anthem head case wanting 20 mil a year in 2 years while infecting a locker room and probably doing something stupid while hanging with his racist gang banging buddies in the hood.

Its all about slotting salaries. Look at what the Rams have to contend with in the near future. There is not enough money to keep all these guys. Thats a lot of difficult decisions on the horizon. Now maybe they are all in for the next two seasons. Who knows.

My knee jerk reaction I hate this trade I was looking forward him and Fuller next season. However if he wasn't going sign next off-season and become expensive FA then at least we will getting something for him and hopefully find a long term answer that can save cap space.

I just look at things are going be much the same for Patrick Mahomes II as they were in college and he is going have to score a lot of points until our defense can be respectable.

Dude, the Rams $3 Billion dollar stadium opens in 2020 and they currently have more than $40 million in cap space this year alone.

With Kroenke being the wealthiest owner in the league, the Rams will keep every one of their stars.

What about a guy like Brockers who they extended last off season?
