I think that tweet is going to be more accurate than people realize. Nobody but the Rams wanted to deal with this guy.

Veach has no leverage. Getting anything from him is a miracle.

The Chiefs dangled him around for almost a month and only 1 team wanted him.

No one is going to convince me that some dope in North Carolina got the scoop over Terez Paylor, Adam Schefter, et al.

Go ahead and point out where I've said any of those moves were bad. Even honor roll students are capable of just absolutely shitting the bed every once in a while, and that's what the Reid/Veach regime just did. You’re judging this move without acknowledging the lack of context.

If that’s all we got, that’s the best we could get. And if that’s the best we could get, that tells you all you need to know about Peters rep and how bad it got behind the scenes.

The bad move was taking a chance on this guy in the first place.
