Might as well document our overall reaction.

I know you said you're withholding judgement, which is honestly the only fair reaction, but Option B seems so much better than A it's hilarious.
You're assuming that Option B would be Drama-Free.

That's clearly incorrect.

I'm assuming a continuation of 100% of the behavior we've had from the past 2 years.

I still take B all day.

All day.

That's because you haven't personally dealt with him on a daily basis for the last 3 years.

You, like so many others, are looking at this situation as if it was in a vacuum.

It's not.

In football sense, I would of taken the gamble. Teams miss out on a big CB in the draft or they lose a starter in camp.

IMO at worst, they were getting a later on 3rd round comp. I don't think the trade moved the needle to feel pressed to do this today.

I can't help but think this is happening now because fat **** Chiefs fans, that haven't seen their own dicks since Montana, sent emails to Clark because his knee made contact with grass.

Think about that:

The Vikings, who already have a great defense, passed on him.

The Eagles, the defending Super Bowl champs, passed on him.

The Saints, whose defense turned a corner this year but lost to the Vikings passed on him.

The Falcons, who have a good defense but would have clearly upgraded with Peters passed on him.

The Green Bay Packers, who need a shit ton of help on defense, passed on him.

The Bears, led by Matt Nagy, who are likely to lose Kyle Fuller to Free Agency, passed on him.

Many, many Super Bowl contenders passed on Peters. Hell, the Eagles gave up a 4th round pick for Jay Ajayi, but wouldn't give up a 4th for Peters.

Only one team wanted this guy.

One.
So, you don't trade him now. I can't imagine the market for a cheap, talented CB is going to get worse.

Andy Reid is a bozo coach who will never win anything.

Fully expect him to be gone in two years while Pederson and Nagy play in the NFC Championship game.

This is the equivalent of losing a playoff game after being up by 18 points in the second half.

If the compensation wasn't adequate, then the Chiefs should have just kept him for the remainder of the contract. We're talking about arguably the best Chiefs cornerback in history, with more INTs over the last 3 years than anyone else in the NFL. On a cheap rookie contract. It's perfectly justifiable to put up with some attitude when you're getting that kind of return on the field. The Chiefs pussed out and allowed themselves to get bent over hard. While showing every player in the league that if you're not happy as a Chief, just act like a douche and you'll get your way.

Why? Peters has no leverage here. The Chiefs don't have to do anything. Peters is under contract.

Oddly, yours may actually be the stupidest comment in this thread.

His talent on the field seems to be his only positive (less awesome tackling) everything else appears to be shit, ya feel me?
