By reading any news outlet facebook post comments section, and reading Chiefsplanet, I'd guess 50% of the fanbase wanted Peters gone, no matter what.

After the initial Anthem kneeling a good majority wanted him gone.... after the on the field antics, that group grew even larger.

He lost enough of the fanbase and Clark Hunt acted.
