It sounds like Richardson is going to Seattle or Minnesota right now so that’s a no for us.

So, the rationale for not trading up before was that there were too many holes to trade up, the Chiefs needed the pick volume. How do we feel about the holes now?

We need basically two slots, corner and d-line. Maybe a guard. I see no reason not to try and get back into the first.

Interesting looking at a bunch of mock drafts and such around the net...several sites don't have Jaire Alexander in the first 2 rounds some places have him as low as the 7th best CB...

If you like him he may be available.

I think if I were GM I'd always try to use all my 5,6,7 round picks to move up. Then you get to pick up undrafted players that are really motivated to succeed ala Albert Wilson.
