They are out of control and in my own personal opinion it is related to the fact that early on all kids are now treated as "special" and get participation ribbons, trophies for doing jack shit.

If they suck, both the parents and the kids need to realize it and either practice or do something else.

It absolutely has. A couple of my friends quit being little league umpires because of it. 4 years ago I was a coach on a little league baseball team and while most of the parents were very cool we had one or two that were obnoxious. Led the head coach to have them banned from the ballpark. I would never in a million years coach or umpire a little league game again.
