But Kansas City is a boring Midwest town, so you can imagine that KC fans don't want anything more. They only care about being "respectable" not great. So I feel Alex was perfect for little ol Kansas City."

**** that. Alex can enjoy his $, while us fans can enjoy a team that actually has a chance

This.

And we're backed up by a cannon with confidence the team can believe in.

We don't "believe" we can win with 30 seconds left - we KNOW we can win with 30 seconds left now...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Did you read the article? It is from SI Gambling and is intended to give bettors a preview of the team's 'total wins' potential. It describes how the team's fortunes have mostly hung for several years on turnover differential, and since they've probably gotten worse on both the giveaway and takeaway side of things this offseason, that will probably translate to fewer wins. It's got nothing to do with anyone sentimentally missing Alex Smith.
