Earl Thomas a longshot to be a Chief

They just said on ESPN we were on the list of teams that he could be dealt to.

Bull. ****ing. Shit.
You didn't answer the question. How does the news impact the trade?

It's a pain management issue and Berry will play later in the year and in the playoffs. I really think some of you guys didn't even read the article that was posted.

This isn't a career ending surgery, if he has the surgery now he can come back next year ready to play. Or simply tough it out, risk damaging the Achilles, and get it done in the off-season.

As my last sarcastic post indicated, the Chiefs have been lying about Berry's "day to day" status for months. Which means they've known all along that Berry was in this situation and also means they've been pursuing Earl Thomas knowing this as well.

This latest thing has zero impact on anybody that's on the inside of this deal. They all already know what's going on with Berry and have for a while. Unless of course, the Chiefs didn't really know and people are accusing them of lying for, you know, a reason to bitch and moan.

All indications are that there's not much risk to the Achilles. It's a pain issue mostly.

Great. So they either lied once again about a player being injured or are so grossly incompetent that they can't diagnose a bone spur.

Then lock the doors of Arrowhead and forfeit the rest of the games. These guys can't be trusted!

Getting the best safety in football would help this team A LOT.

Why not go for it, especially if it only cost a 2nd?

If it costs a 2nd I'd be ecstatic. The Seahawks have already turned that down from the Cowboys so I'm guessing their sights are aimed higher.
