That's certainly possible. It's also possible that the Chiefs simply won't condone being lied to and cut him because of it.

I think the easy thing for Clark to do would have been sit on his thumbs while the league reviews everything.

Clark took the much tougher route but the right one. His football team that has legitimate Super Bowl aspirations is now worse because of this and he did it anyway. He stands to lose a lot in this situation as well for something he didn't create.

When I got home and turned on the non-sport news channels and see how this was being portrayed, I knew he was probably going to be history... Sucks, but it's no one else's fault but his own...

The Chiefs had no choice when this blew up on Twitter. Kareem Hunt would become a major distraction. There would have been a media circus. People protesting. Presidential tweets etc.

This is why I was so mad earlier today - this should have been dealt with MONTHS AGO, when it happened.

There was nowhere to go once the video dropped - he was going to either be suspended or cut because the pitchforks and torches won't settle for anything less.

It just sucks all the way around.

hes not facing criminal charges. What happened to him would have happened to me by every employer I’ve ever worked for.

We literally drafted hill, who I love on the team but he did worse.
Then if I am hunt I am meeting with the Pat's or Steelers to sign after extension then give info on the chiefs.

Stupid, just wait until the NFL finished investigation.
