According to Mellinger, the Chiefs knew as soon as they saw the video today that Hunt wouldn’t play another snap for them. He said they merely waited for him to be placed on the exempt list to ensure that he wouldn’t play against them this season.

This leads me to believe that they really were pissed about him lying—not just a cover.

I don't think this is a CHunt move, although I'm sure he's glad that KHunt is gone. In my opinion, this is Reid being ****ing pissed that KHunt lied to him even though he's shown over the years to be understanding and forgiving regarding situations like this, maybe even to a fault.

Just connecting dots—seems to me that this all got reported back in February, they probably talked about it several times, and Kareem very likely told them again and again that he never physically hit the woman in any way.

Then the video hits today, he clearly did get into a physical altercation with her, and thus he’s gone...

But I can’t sit here and pretend its not going to hurt from a football perspective. This is tough deal and I think even though Kareem is the big loser in it all, we aren’t far behind.
