I have followed this team for over 30 years thinking this could be the year!!!
Now I have come to the conclusion this team will never win the super bowl because of incompetancy of the organization and believe me it starts right at the top and trickles down they don't address needs properly of the team like defensive coaches play calling the list goes on and on giving huge salary contracts to players that don't do squat but the bottom line it starts at the top
Just a very sadd situation 1 thing for sure is this organization will always!!!!dissapoint any expectations for a super bowl run!!!!I am totally done with this organization!!!

What a heartfelt first post. Too bad it is shit.

Ware was the starter before getting injured and before we learned of the gem we had behind him. Their career numbers are nearly identical, except maybe touchdowns (I haven't looked). We will be absolutely fine. Any team that overlooks him will get burned.

The situation sucks but Kareem has no one to blame but himself. With all the pressure on the league to punish these guys, however hypocritical of a past the NFL has, CHunt's hands were tied. If he did lie and by some miracle the team/league wasn't aware of the video, be it due to negligence, incompetence, whatever, then again, KHunt did this to himself. Don't get into altercations (woman or not), don't lie about altercations (woman or not), and certainly don't do so on camera

Agreed. I thought about it last night and, at first, I was in agreement with the Chiefs. Now? I’m not so sure.

No one has pressed charges, the Police never nabbed him. The DA looked at the video and decided not to pursue criminal charges.

What I *think* was the deciding factor for CHUNT was the fact that Hunt lied about the incident when confronted about it. Can’t say for sure - but in most cases - you lie to your employer and it’s out the door....

Damned shame.
