No one has pressed charges, the Police never nabbed him. The DA looked at the video and decided not to pursue criminal charges.

What I *think* was the deciding factor for CHUNT was the fact that Hunt lied about the incident when confronted about it. Can’t say for sure - but in most cases - you lie to your employer and it’s out the door....

Damned shame.

Add in the fact that he could've walked away from the situation several times...

Nah, we'd have released a statement explaining how sorry we were and we'd investigate the matter. The league would also issue a statement and hand down a 6 week suspension. It would have blown over within weeks since "justice" was served and the SJWs would have moved on to another pressing matter... That or talk about who was ****ing who in Hollywood, dank memes, or whatever else those keyboard warriors do in their free time

He literally just cut him for basically being a liar lol so no I'm not kidding.

The only reason for Kareem to even consider not telling the truth is to keep his roster spot and status quo on the team. Did he want to be suspended? cut? traded? Of course not. And by telling the truth he had to factor in those three things happening in some form.

Nope. Happened in college, was on probation, and was already kicked out of school. If we didn't draft him someone else would have, video or not

Peters yelled at people or did whatever he did and they shipped him out for way less. I'd imagine there would be no room for Kareem had they saw that video in February. Maybe they did and this is covering their butts. But you have to consider the reasons why Kareem didn't tell the truth.
