Yes he was hired before Dorsey was fired. If Dorsey's firing was inevitable, why wouldn't they retain his second in command in Ballard?

The plan was Veach would be GM.


Veach hiring wasn't a spontaneous fallback without forethought. It was already arranged for Brett to fill the job

It wasn't inevitable from what I remember. It was a complete surprise to everyone. Even Reid. Veach was the choice because Ballard left and Reid wanted Veach. You are just making shit up at this point

Now that's bullshit, there were articles about how he freelanced alot, and a to his credit from all I read Kareem was a true Dorsey guy

Besides poor cap management,interpersonally inside the organization tolerance was wearing thin,because John wasn't communicating well concerning who he liked during draft preparation.
