Chiefs Is this going to be the loudest game ever at Arrowhead? - Page 6

I have gone to a bunch of games the last 25 years. The two loudest Chiefs games I have attended would be the 1995 MNF game against the Chargers and the 2014 game against the Patriots that broke the noise record. I honestly think this one might top them all. You have the cold which is driving ticket prices down and also weeding out the fair weather fans. You have the pent up energy from fans who have been dreaming their whole lives of watching an AFC Championship game from Arrowhead. Plus it's an evening game so more time for drinking. What do you think?

I think it will be as loud as it's ever been. The weather isn't supposed to be THAT bad, is it? Just pretty cold.

The loudest I've personally ever heard Arrowhead was a game in 2003 or 2004. Chiefs v. Broncos, fairly early in the season, but both were undefeated if I remember correctly. Specifically the moment Dante Hall ran back the punt for a touchdown. The one where there were definitely no clipping penalties that didn't get called. It was insane.

I actually got randomly drug tested the Tuesday after that game, failed for weed, and got fired from a sweet-paying mortgage underwriting job. Happy ending though, they hired me back at the same pay 2 days later, although I eventually got fired again for an unrelated matter a few months later.

Last I heard, it might be the coldest game in Arrowhead history @ around 3 degrees at halftime. Maybe it's changed though.

That's changed. It will be around 20 degrees at game time with a low of 17 for the night.

Not that it matters much because we lost, but from start to finish that ended up being the loudest game I have been to at Arrowhead. Good job to everyone who attended.

It was loud. There were times where we were yelling at each other and not only could we not hear each other, we couldn't hear ourselves.

I lost the ability to yell early into the 3rd quarter. I felt like I was yelling, but no sound was coming out. I had to resort to hitting the chair in front of me.
