We just had an all-time great season out of our QB on a rookie contract and not even a SB appearance to show for it

How was it not wasted?

I get you man. I really do. But we just had the best season we’ve ever had since 1970. That’s damn good for the first year of the Mahomes era.

Idk if I’m too worried about Pat getting paid. That won’t kick in until 2021 and Berry and Houston will be off the books.

The journey was insanely fun. I get that people want to beat their chests as victors, but damn, enjoy the journey. This was the most fun I've had as a Chiefs fan ever. I can't imagine how that is a waste.

Yea it was fun, but it ended it typical Because Chiefs fashion. That’s not good enough for me and never will be.
