Didn't see anybody starting this thread so I guess I will.

Anti climatic season starts tonight and my prediction is GS vs Boston in the NBA Finals.




First 2 Games tonight on TNT with Philly vs Boston and OKC vs GS. Westbrook is out tonight so that game will be a blowout most likely.

It plays out with the Warriors winning like every other scenario. They have five all-stars healthy by then and Andre Iguodala.

In order to beat GS you have to be physical with Klay and Steph and we will see but I don’t think Portland has the guards that can do that.

In the last 3 postseasons GS is now 9-1 vs Portland.

If KD is healthy GSW wins. If he's not, then it's going to be realllll interesting. They can put Iggy on Giannis but he'll be burnt to a crisp trying to keep up. KD is the only one who has a hope of keeping up and slowing him down.

In order to beat Golden State you need 3 or 4 superstars. Plain and simple.

Portland doesn't have the talent to do much of anything here. Their bigs can also be exploited so easily on the defensive end and the Warriors didn't even pick on them as much as they could have tonight. Dame could just go off one game, but it's still a sweep if they want it to be.

As far as the Finals, the Bucks and Raptors have one superstar and some other decent players but it's been shown the last two years with the GOAT that that isn't anywhere near enough to even make a dent against the Durant Warriors (although LeBron didn't even have decent players last season, he just had a collection of scrubs).

Nobody has kept up w/ GS so far b/c nobody has 3 or 4 top 10 players in the world like they continue to do year after year. And thats b/c the NBA is bush league.

Can we stop this shit? The rockets would have beat them last year if they didn't shit themselves and miss 27 straight 3s. And that was without CP3 who was playing well in the playoffs last year.

The price of a system entirely built on 3PT variance. Morey is right that it's entirely the best strategy to try to knock off a team with an enormous talent gap compared to your own, but it sometimes leads to games like that if it doesn't go right.

I remember when GS lost to Cleveland in the finals, Draymond calls up KD to ask him to join the team so they could beat Cleveland the following year. Its a ****ing joke dude.

Then when Cousins signed with them for a discounted price I shook my head in disgust. But then I started laughing after and said what kind of a league is this? I was actually happy that he got hurt. Even when KD went down. I hope he stays down and breaks his ankle. I hate the bastard. ****ing sellout.

**** those bastards and everything about GS. They make the league a joke. Michael Jordan is the one guy I respect b/c he came out and said that the problem w/ the league is that there is an imbalance in competition. Well gee I wonder why? 27 straight 3s is more than 3 point variance. It was the most missed 3s in a row in NBA playoff history. And despite that they only lost by 9. Yes the warriors are great but they're not invinsible.
