Essentially yes. And unless station sponsors start feeling pain of customers avoiding them and said sponsors start pulling ads and the station loses ad revenue nothing will happen to KK.

We can gnash our teeth and shake our fists but unless there's a hit in the station's ad revenue only two things will happen; jack & s**t.

Here's just a couple examples. He also was sued for trying to coerce his racing partner and his wife into group sex, makes his employees take RW indoctrination classes, and threatens managers with a 60% pay cut if their store unionizes.

But Helget’s boss, Larry Menard, said there were no exceptions to the company rule. Helget, who had a stellar 13-year record with the company, could resign his post and take a lower-level job, Larry said. That meant a $15,000 cut in his $40,000 salary, but Helget still agreed.

The Helgets hired a contractor to build a ramp-equipped home, using building materials from another company. When John Menard heard about the deal, he fired Helget. The company notified Helget that if he ever showed up on its property again, he’d be arrested for trespassing.

It’s fairly well known that the Menards owner is a complete POS. That said, I shop there as it’s the closest home improvement store.

My only issue with going after sponsors is the mom and pop owned businesses.
Myself being a small business owner I might spend my whole advertising budget for the year on a certain platform (I dont but ) and I wouldn't have anywhere else to go.
It wouldn't mean I support that station and I'd pull my advertising asap....
Going after the corporations would make the impact.

Unfortunately, that's the way it is.

If you shopped at a store and you knew that between the hours of 2:00-6:00 that people were going to be treated like dog shit, how often would you frequent that place? Furthermore, you're going to think poorly of that entire business (and management) because of that one employee.

Kind of, but to be fair, i'm kind of the opposite and it's a little more of a unique situation.
