Jones was a beast last year. I can't remember an interior lineman for the Chiefs with 16 sacks in a season, ever.

But that dude still checks out on quite a few plays every game. The all-22 showed a couple of plays where he didn't even pursue the play 5-10 yards down the field, and were the type of plays that DT, Hali, Houston, and players like Dan Saleaumua used to chase down all the time.

When he is rolling and having success in his one on one matchups, he gives great effort, but when he is blocked well, or loses his match up against an individual offensive lineman, he is quick to let up.

Having said that, he is still becoming a great player, but I think an interior lineman needs back to back seasons like last year before demanding to be paid like a premiere defender.
