DT Mike Daniels released by Green Bay

Per Schefty.... https://twitter.com/adamschefter/sta...430565378?s=21

Interesting late cut. Really good run defender.

I don’t think he’s a fit here considering you already have a deep DL. Cleveland is the team to watch.

If we trade Jones (and I don’t want to, but if we do) then there must be some truth to his freelancing and not playing his role correctly despite being told/coached otherwise. He is a wonderful talent, but I think Veach has earned our trust.
Sometimes you have to pick, for todays league if I have to pick between Hill and Jones I'm going to pick Hill every time.

I’m assuming most teams will try to play keep away with us again this year, so we should see teams trying to run the ball on us again.

If we can get this guy on a 1-year deal, I’d do it all day.

A DL of Clark, Jones, Daniels, and Okafor would be elite. Then you have Nnadi, Saunders, Ogbah, and Speaks as depth. I’d assume Williams and Kpass are gone at that point.

There will be zero excuses for our LBs in the run game if they’re playing behind that line.

You could do some really interesting shit and line up Jones and Clark as your ends with Daniels and Nnadi in at DT, it would give a lot of options.

Saw reports that Veach was trying to trade for him. So clearly there is legit interest, I just can't see paying this guy decent coin when we have Jones and Hill yet to deal with. Unless, Veach is all in for this year and is not going to give Hill or Jones new contracts.

All in moment?

If you can do a 1 year deal, it wouldn't really affect those deals much.

That's fine I mean theres no objective talk on here anymore now that the Chiefs are good but if you compare the rosters you'll see outside of QB, TE, and Offensive line the Browns have a better roster. Daniel's probably wont sign there because that D-Line is stacked while we hope broke dicks like Speaks and Ogbah workout.
