I would imagine that Darwin will start the season #3 no matter what. At his size, pass blocking at the very least is going to be an issue for awhile, if not just a permanent flaw. Williams and Hyde, with better size and experience, can function in all facets.

Darwin will get snaps, but likely as your gadget guy.

Any news about Lovett shoulder injury ?
I think he would be interesting as a hibrid second QB on the field for trick plays "a la Saints"
but I cant see him converting to an NFL tightend.

There’s a decent chance they end up with the #1 overall pick again the next two years. They might be the first team to take a QB early in the 1st 3 out of 4 years consecutive years.

If you want Carlos Hyde cut in my view that really comes down to Darrell Williams, if they like him and think he can do the job then really no need for Hyde.

When we had alex or whoever at qb, the trick plays with someone else throwing the ball were cool

Now if someone is throwing the ball for the chiefs, it needs to be the mvp qb

I think they will actually considering how much they like to rotate and with several of those ends being able to play DT.

Lovett is a perfect fit for IR at this point. We need to figure out a way to keep Cody Thompson too.

With D-Rob and (likely) Sammy leaving, he should be on the roster next year.
