Don't love giving up a 3 and 4 for a guy that doesn't seem to have an outstanding trait but who's best attribute appears to be just not being bad at anything.

Yea nothing wrong about your take on Hunt DJ.

And in typical Staylor fashion, anyone who isn't loudly singing the praises of your favorite guys are clearly just shitting all over them.

I think I even asked you to try to sell me on the guy; I didn't shit on him, I was genuinely intrigued. But in the end I didn't see him as the right fit for the offense and preferred a more explosive option. And again, said he'd have 1,200 all purpose yards which is hardly bitching and moaning.

His talent is less than Alvin Kamara's. Who is who we should've drafted. But keep citing that time you preferred a less talented alcoholic over the more talented All Pro as proof of your genius.

I guess. I mean, Hunt COULD still be here and he did lead the league in rushing; I'm not going to fault the FO for that pick.

Choosing KPass over Kamara was a mistake, but the Hunt pick certainly made up for it.

It's bizzare. The Chiefs have quite possibly the brightest present AND future in the NFL, and all anybody seems to do on this site is engage in stupid pissing contests and whine and bitch and moan.

Someone in here trying to refer to KPass as a JAG just to reinforce his point.

Clearly ignoring what is happening with KPass so you don't have to be wrong. Gross.

In games that actually count he is a JAG.

I've been rooting for K-Pass all last season and this season. I actually really like the guy from a raw talent perspective.

My point is to say that I don't know how realistic it is to say that we couldn't have still gotten him in the 3rd, especially with the trade up. He wasn't seen by many as a 2nd round talent at the time.

That said, Mecca's point is fair - his development curve to this point has been pretty much flat. I'd say that's not entirely his fault (afterall, he was buried behind a truly shitty player in Breeland Speaks. Who is shitty. And a bad pick), but it's the reality of the thing.

I don't hate Kpass, but when you see some of the guys who went after him and how long he's been in the league, that pick to this point is not good.

And suddenly Damien Williams looked every bit as dynamic as Hunt did last year, no? Not as powerful, but more explosive. And explosion was ALWAYS what I said Hunt lacked. I still think that's a viable concern that could surface away from Reid's system.

Meanwhile we picked up a dude for at/near the veterans minimum last year and made him just as productive as Hunt.

I reiterate - it's your strange need to pump yourself off over this every few months that I find completely bizarre.

But really, to bring it full circle, Breeland Speaks sucks.
