What will be the main entree of your Thanksgiving meal tomorrow?

Poll coming as soon as that little red thing pops out.

The wife and I are eschewing the traditional turkey in favor off crab legs. Mmmm, crab legs.

Edit: Due to a management oversight, ham was not included as an initial choice and has been added as a category at the bottom of the list.

You need a pizzelle maker. They are good. I grew up on them at my Nona's made with anise. I make them in vanilla and anise at Christmas sometimes. Haven't use that machine for awhile, so this is a reminder to make them this year.

Place I go to for a wonderful buffet at an upscale place is on the waterfront. It had a lot less people in the past. It was about half as many in the past.

Traditional ham and turkey this year.

Baked steak, smoked brisket, fried chicken, manicotti, or soup in previous years.

Since my mother-in-law passed a couple of years ago, we go to restaurants for the holidays. My brother-in-law got divorced, my wife can't cook worth a shit, and while I probably could pull off Thanksgiving dinner, I have no desire to try. We went to a place called The Clubhouse in Oak Brook. It was a buffet, but a top flight buffet. They had everything from fresh oysters to prime rib, but I'm a simple Missourian from the country, so I had turkey, mashed potatoes and stuffing, all slathered with gravy. Yummy.

No fancy city food on Thanksgiving for me.

For a smaller number of servings and easier prep I decided to forgo real turkey for one of those "breast roast". Don't do it!

I accepted a friends invitation for dinner. Traditional Thanksgiving fare. I arrived with a top shelf Cabernet, flowers for Mrs. Host, and a 2 liter of coke. And weed.

Gave my doggy bag, and a Heiniken, to a homeless guy who walked funny.

/feeling blessed and warm.

It's called "96 Monsters". My wife bought it when I was out of town. I was initially skeptical, but it's grown on me a lot. I like it now even without lemon drops.
