Watched the game with my daughter. She had been so excited for the game all week. No idea where all the interest in the Chiefs came from this year from her, but man she loves Mahomes.

She got so upset watching them get down early - just like I used to do at the end of every single year. At 14-0 & 21-0 I told her that it was still extremely early and this team could score quickly. We weren't out of it. Had a lot of anxious energy so I turned the game on in the bedroom and folded some laundry while watching.

Right before that 4th & 1, my daughter went downstairs and put on her Mahomes jersey and came back up. I was hoping they didn't go for it. I knew they'd get it and eventually get another score. But they kicked it. Then the big return. Then all the TD's.

I was anxious, but never upset. Like you said, it was just a comedy of errors. Everything that could go wrong, was going wrong. The dropped passes ticked me off most, but that has nothing to do with coaching.

My daughter takes credit for the win for putting her jersey on. Says she'll make sure it's on before the game this week.
