They’re coming to the realization that came to every Chiefs fan at some point.
In order to be a legit consistent contender, you have to have an upper tier QB. Without one, you need to be great everywhere else, stay healthy, get a little lucky, and avoid any major adversity. Look at all the mistakes we made in each of these playoffs games...only to win both by double digits.
